OUT LOOK
Out Look is inspired by Darwin's final words in On the Origin of Species: "It is interesting to contemplate a tangled bank, clothed with plants of many kinds... with various insects flitting about, and with worms crawling through the damp earth, and to reflect that these elaborately constructed forms, so different from each other, and dependent upon each other in so complex a manner, have all been produced by laws acting around us."
Henry Montes is a freelance dance maker, performer and teacher who has worked with many independent choreographers and companies. His own work has most recently been commissioned by the Place Prize and Transitions Dance Company. He Joined Siobhan Davies Dance in 1998 and was awarded the 2003 Critics Circle National Dance Award for Outstanding Male Artist for his performance in Siobhan Davies' Plants and Ghosts.
