A conversation between the artists and antiquarian booksellers, Chris and Michèle Kohler, with a slowly evolving time-lapse film celebrating the digestive power of earthworms, the legacy of book collecting and the plain unpredictability of life.
Ackroyd and Harvey make ambitious works that juxtapose natural forces of growth and decay with artifice, control and randomness, creating time-based interventions that frequently reflect both scientific and architectural concerns.
